Holy 🐄 the regular markets took a dive then the crypto ones, all after word of massive proposed hikes in capital gains taxes that would give over half of gains in NY and Cali to the government. Breathtaking implications of removing the fuel of ambition from our society.
Basically the market dropped because people are wondering if risking their money is worth it you lose half or more of your good bets’ winnings to the government. Time will tell, but it seems like we are headed for a declining market, also called a bear market.
Anyone else pondering buying gold?
Cryptocurrency jargon: hodl means hold. “Hodler” refers to someone who keeps their crypto instead of trading it.
