Ugh this vaccine stuff is hard to follow :/ The good news is these events are very rare for vaccines but...
JnJ vaccine pull motivations questioned by Trump Hopefully an actual journalist can tell us why multiple cases of thrombocytopenia (dangerously low, even deadly, platelet counts) following mRNA vaccines didn’t generate the same caution. I know I’ll look forward to understanding why dozens of cases of platelet issues from the mRNA vaccines was acceptable to the FDA, even though it caused multiple deaths in a similar population as the JnJ caution. There must be a good reason. Hopefully Trump’s accusations bring out more discussions to help the world understand the FDA’s rationale or more conspiracy theories will build, delaying vaccinations and recovery.
