Dear APSS Community,
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the incredible individuals who have already registered to be mentors in our upcoming mentorship program. Your willingness to share your knowledge, experience and guidance is truly commendable. Thank you for your commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
I would like to remind everyone that there are just a few days remaining to submit mentor applications.
The deadline for mentor applications is 5 PM on Thursday, November 30th.
If you haven't yet applied but have been contemplating the idea of becoming a mentor, now is the perfect time to take that step forward and make a meaningful difference in someone's life.
Allow me to emphasize the incredible benefits that mentorship can bring, as we believe in the power of nurturing relationships and personal growth.
Here are some key advantages of participating in our mentorship program:
- Enables you to make a positive impact on someone's personal and professional development, bringing a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction
- Opportunity to share your knowledge, skills, and experience with someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field
- Enhances your leadership abilities, as you guide and inspire others to reach their full potential
- You play a part in shaping the future of the industry and leave a lasting impact on the next generation
- Brings new connections and networks, opening doors to collaborations, partnerships and potential opportunities
- Further develop your communication skills as you effectively convey information, provide feedback, and offer guidance
- Enables you to learn from your mentees, as they bring their unique experiences, insights, and ideas to the table.
- Showcases your commitment to the growth and development of the field, enhancing your professional reputation as a knowledgeable and supportive expert
Remember, this is the last opportunity to apply for mentorship, so I encourage you to act promptly and submit your applications before the deadline. Together, we can create a thriving mentorship community that fosters growth, learning and empowerment.
Mentee applications will be circulated next week and mentors will be able to choose their mentees, based on goals and alignment.
