Self Alchemy - The Indian Immersion Retreat

We are exploring a small immersion in India and wanted to share the idea with you first.

Dear Friend,

Indian tradition is one of the oldest living cultural and philosophical traditions in the world. Yet for someone who is not Indian, it is not always easy to know how to approach it, especially in spiritual, philosophical, or astrological contexts.

Many people arrive with sincere curiosity and leave feeling confused, or worse, misled. Rituals, remedies, astrology, and “spiritual solutions” are often presented without context, and sometimes at great cost, without clarity.

Along with my friends and fellow astrologers MuthuVijayan Elango and Karthik Ritty Sudharshan, I’ve been exploring a different possibility.

What if there were a way to experience Indian traditions in a grounded, personal way: without fear, dependence, or unnecessary expense?

We are considering a small, in-person immersion retreat in India that brings together personal astrology consultations, Ayurveda, yoga (including meditation), conversations around rituals, and visits to spiritually significant places.

This is not a course or certification, but an experiential retreat focused on living more mindfully.

Before taking this further, we’ve put together a short expression-of-interest form to understand whether this resonates.

If this speaks to you, I’d appreciate you taking a few minutes to respond.

Have a lovely rest of the week and my next letter will arrive at your inbox during the weekend.

Until Next Letter,

Love,

Aswin
