Hi ,
Ang bilis ng panahon. June na this week! This time around, I would like to share with you ano yung “Beyond Kilig.” Para saan ito, bakit nandito kami, at ano yung mga hugot ng mga tao dito 😅
Sa totoo lang minsan confused tayo when it comes to our desires. At nakaka frustrate kapag hindi natin naiintindihan ang mga pangyayari sa ating buhay.
Nakaka (loka) lost, empty or hurt yung feelings na pwede natin maramdaman.
Questions like…. Who am I? Why am I like this? Why do I have these thoughts, feelings, desires, etc.? The list can go on.
When I was in this phase, matagal bago ko naisip na the best person to ask is the Creator. When I was looking for love and affirmation, nalimutan ko that if I wanted to know more about love, the best person to ask and learn it from is Love Himself (God).
Sakto, I got to learn Theology of the Body (TOB). On my own, I don’t think I would be able to grasp it fully. I might not have persevered, nonetheless decided to turn it into an advocacy and spread the word in social media.
I learned TOB last year with a group of people. Together, we were unpacking truths about life and love. And it answered the questions I had deep within.
Na- shook ako!
At the end of the course, my classmates and I shared that we each had our own personal experience of interior healing/clarity throughout learning TOB.
This inspired us to come up with Beyond Kilig-- for us to be able to spread these teachings in social media and to give talks, workshops and a course about it.
Through TOB, you will discover how God fashioned you and I.
With Beyond Kilig, we want you to be transformed and healed by seeing life through the lens of the Theology of the Body (lens of true Love).
This means recognizing the goodness of the body, that despite being broken and imperfect, you and I have the capacity to give and receive true love.
The culminating activity of the TOB course we had last year is to come up with a video that explains a key concept. Check out what one of the groups did in this link.
Have a great week ahead!
Guada
