There's something about a new year that always feels like a breath of fresh air. I'm energized to try new things and focused on my goals.
This yearâs mantra is work smarter not harder, find balance, and be intentional.

The first release of the year... The Perfect Love
And when it comes to â¨perfect⨠Trevor Matteny fits to a T. He is total #bookboyfriendgoals. Like when he takes care of Chelsea when she has her periodâŚ
đWhen I get back to Chelseaâs room, sheâs propped up on some pillows, watching some Netflix Christmas movie.
She perks up at the sight of the tray. âWhatâs all that?â
I set the tea on her bedside table and hand her the heat wrap before putting the tray on her lap.
âTea and sustenance. Your gran made garlic bread.â
âMm. Yes. Iâm starving.â
I sit down next to her, and she leans over to kiss me, her hand skating up my arm as she does. Then she pinches me.
âThe fantasy book boyfriend thing again?â I sigh.
She bites her lip and smiles. âNope. My real-life book boyfriend.â
âIâm moving up in the world.â
âIâm finally starting to believe youâre real.â
I wrap my arm around her back, then press a kiss to her head. âBelieve it, babe. Iâm here, and Iâm not going anywhere.âđ
