imageHappy October Everyone!!

Fall is here and it's beautiful! I hope everyone is enjoying hints of cooler weather (I love it!!). September was an exciting month around these parts and I'm excited to share an update with you, along with some book suggestions and a giveaway.

First, exciting news! I officially signed with my publisher for Book 3 of the Faith Endures Series. Yay! This will be the third book in the series that began with "Emma's Hero" and I'm so thrilled that the complete series will find its way to print.

If you haven't read Emma's Hero yet, it celebrates it's 6 month birthday tomorrow! With over 75 Amazon reviews, averaging 4.9 stars (thank you to everyone who's left a review, they are so so helpful to me), I'm so happy people are enjoying it. Here's a link to Emma's Hero:

September was filled with so many fun author events. I attended the ACFW Writer's conference in New Orleans and loved connecting with other authors and learned more tricks to improve my writing :) I also took part in a book event at Bene Italiano in Toledo Ohio with Janine Rosche, Denise Hunter and Jill Kemerer. Talk about an author's dream!! These ladies and their books are amazing. You should definitely check them out. And if you want good Italian food in Ohio, Bene Italiano is your place. I capped off the month with a table at the Made in Michigan street fair and a library event. Whew! What a month.

October isn't quite so busy (which is probably a good thing), but here's where you can find me in October.

What I'm reading ...

These were both great reads! If you like road trips and a little bit slower paced book with lots of family drama and some romance mixed in "The Roads we Follow" is the book for you. There's a little bit of family mystery woven in and lots of growth and redemption. If you like books with a touch of speculative element mixed into family drama, check out "Between You and Us." I was taken with the premise (a woman steps into an alternate reality where her daughter didn't die and has to choose which life to stay in) . . . I read it in two days!

Next month's Giveaway!

image

Next month's giveaway I'm veering a little bit away from the typical genre's I usually giveaway, to historical romance and there's a good reason. Many have been affected by the devastation in North Carolina, and author Sondra Kraak has lost her home. This is a small way to support her, but it's something I can do. While you wait to hear if you've won, perhaps check out some of her other books. To sign up for the giveaway click the button below.
