Do you ever imagine the way book characters sound?
I did that for the main characters in my Clandestine Magic trilogy. Both the wizard who comes back to his small town, and the anti-magic activist he hires as his (decidedly unwilling) assistant.
Here's the amazing thing: Narrator Leanne Woodward read a short excerpt and absolutely nailed it, like she pulled it out of my head. I was so happy she agreed to narrate the whole romantic fantasy series.
It's now available as a box set on Audible, a nice long listen. And here's something I wanted to let you know.
I have a limited number of review copies to hand out. If you enjoy leaving honest reviews and think this series might be your cup of tea, you can raise your hand here:
Here's what the books are about:
In an America controlled by wizards and 100 years behind on women's rights, Beatrix Harper counts herself among the resistance β the Women's League for the Prohibition of Magic. Then Peter Blackwell, the only wizard her town has ever produced, unexpectedly returns home and presses her into service as his assistant.
Beatrix fears he wants to undermine the League. His real purpose is far more dangerous for them both.
Like to know more content details first, like whether there's sex or violence or tropes you absolutely hate? I've got you covered.
If you prefer ebooks, you can find the trilogy here. Or keep an eye out for my early January email: I'll have a deal to share about the ebooks then. π
