A quick note about the “Councillor” line on your ballot

The office is commonly called the Governor’s Council, but your ballot will list it as “Councillor.”




When you receive your Massachusetts ballot, you may notice something that can be a little confusing.


The office commonly known as the Governor's Council appears on the ballot simply as:

COUNCILLOR




So if you are looking for the Governor's Council race, look for the Councillor section of your ballot.

In District 2, Francis T. Crimmins appears under that office. Massachusetts' official election materials use the title "Councillor" on the ballot. Massachusetts Sec. of the Commonwealth
