Hello and welcome to new subscribers! Aside from editing my urban fantasy trilogy last month, I hired a professional editor for the first book, which is the most polished of the three. The edits will take place in January. Once they're done and I've made the inevitable changes, I'll be in full production mode. The idea of publishing a new book is both daunting and exciting. The last time I published a novel, A Gold Satin Murder, was in September 2022. In fact, I'm offering the book on sale for $.99 this month. More about that below.
Given my cancer battle last fall, winter, and spring, I stayed close to home. So, it was great fun to take a mini vacation for the first time in quite a while. My daughter and I drove up to the Whistler Ski Resort, which is worth visiting any time of year. In September, the days are reasonably warm, and nothing is crowded. I did some early Christmas shopping and visited the amazing Audain Art Museum. Whistler is a beautiful spot, even for non-skiers like me.
