On the speaking questions, it's your job to show Duolingo that you can speak at length about the topic. You must speak for at least 30 seconds, but, to get a great score, I highly recommend that you speak for longer.
A good way to develop your ideas and speak for longer is to use trigger patterns. In my latest video, I interview Jack, an IELTS expert, and he shares his trigger patterns method along with some other important tips to help you improve your speaking answers. 👇
