🧐 Understanding the Production Subscore
Did you know there are 8 question types that contribute to your Production Score?
- Speak About the Photo – once on the test
- Write About the Photo – 3 times
- Summarize the Conversation – twice
- Read, Then Write – once
- Read, Then Speak – once
- Listen, Then Speak – twice
- Speaking Sample – once
- Writing Sample – once
That's a lot! 😱
These questions are all about your natural speaking and writing. You’ll need to think quickly and answer various topics — both in writing and speaking.
Here’s how you will be scored:
Grammar: Can you use simple and advanced grammar correctly?
Vocabulary: Can you use a range of words that fit the topic?
Fluency & Coherence: Can you express yourself smoothly and clearly?
Answer Quality: Are your answers relevant and effective?
I understand that preparing for all of these 8 Production Score questions can be very challenging 😫
