Hi, Teacher Luke here from DET Ready VIP!
What was your first thought when you found out you only get 5 minutes for each DET writing task?
I remember mine: "Five minutes? No way!" 😅
And many of my students feel the same—until they learn my system.
It’s not just about writing fast—you also need to:
✅ Meet the scoring criteria (Content, Coherence, Grammar, Vocabulary).
✅ Stay clear and structured.
✅ Write at least 50 words.
Without a plan, it feels impossible—but with the right system, it’s totally doable!
That’s why I created a simple template that works for every DET writing question.
In today’s DET Ready VIP lesson, I’m teaching you this simple template!
