Hello, readers! I've been taking advantage of the last bits of pre-rainy weather in the Pacific Northwest. Our family discovered a little known waterfall called Wildwood Falls recently and spend an afternoon there picnicking and climbing around the rocks. I love having so many natural wonders within an hour's drive of my front door.
We climbed to the top of Wildwood Falls, although we were careful not to get too close.
October also kickoffs autumn! I'm not afraid to admit that I've consumed my fair share of pumpkin-flavored goodies already. In honor of the season, I wrote a new short story about Rosalind's first Halloween as the magical Librarian of Atlantis. Check out A Day for the Dead:
A Day for the Dead is a free short story on my blog, where I host a bunch of other free content for you to enjoy.
I'm also participating in a fantastic fantasy book giveaway. You can grab 300+ books for free between October 18-20. Check out the Stuff Your Kindle Fantasy Edition:
Stuff Your Kindle Fantasty Edition is only around for a few days, so check it out while you can!
You might notice a familiar book in the upper lefthand corner of the above graphic. Chasing Lightning, the first book in my nature wizard series, isn't only free for the next few days, but I've made Breathing Water and Running into Fire free as well. You can also grab Books 4 and 5 for 0.99 in the US/UK Amazon stores. If you love nature magic and supernatural creatures, you'll love the Magic of Nasci:
Magic of Nasci is on sale for a limited time too!
Whew! That's a lot for one email. I hope in between a brand new librarian short story on my blog and a bunch of great free books, you'll find something new to read. And as always, feel free to reach out to me about my books at [email protected].
