Hello, beloved community!
Chloe here - It's been a little quiet around here, but I promise you, , there's plenty to be excited about so keep reading.
I'm still feeling energized and inspired by the incredible connections, conversations, and sense of belonging we experienced at the recent DRUUMM Beloved Gathering (check out some of the pics). It reminded me of just how powerful our community can be when we come together with intention.
And that brings me to some exciting news!
DRUUMM ATL is growing into DRUUMM SouthEast!
During the Beloved Gathering, I shared with our ATL members present my thoughts that we might widen our circle beyond Metro Atlanta, and the response was overwhelmingly positive! With folks from Florida and Tennessee also expressing a desire to be included, it became clear that we needed to draw the circle wider.
So here we are, embracing an exciting new chapter as DRUUMM SouthEast!
We're creating opportunities for BIPOC individuals across the region to connect, collaborate, celebrate our cultures, and care for one another. I'll also be championing us to look beyond congregational walls, by welcoming those who share our values and might benefit from the community we're building, whether or not they identify as UU.
