Dear Wonderful Woman,
How are you doing?
I'm well.
Today, I am reflecting on what do you need to take notice of in your career.
Do you find that you are repeating patterns?
Are you really conscience of what patterns may be going on in your career?
We can desire growth, change and to create different opportunities for us to create the impact, the life-style, or legacy we want to leave and not be making the progress we desire.
Today I want us to reflect on what patterns in our career are unhelpful and are keeping you stuck.
Unhelpful patterns can look like:
- Not speaking up and sharing our valuable insights and opinion
- Not putting in place work boundaries in regards to how we let people treat us, the hours we work, managing our workload, and looking after our health and well-being etc.
- Not saying "No" and pushing back when required
- Not taking paid holiday on a regular basis and feeling overwhelmed or Burnout
- Not stepping forward for projects or opportunities outside of our comfort zone
- Believing self-limiting thoughts without challenge
- Letting co-worker negativity drag you down and limit your thinking
- Letting past negative career wounds limit your thinking or your belief in your current and future career opportunities
Whatever it is for you, you have the opportunity to commit to doing it differently. To leaning in creating that future where you are creating thoughts, beliefs and patterns that serve you. Where you are taking aligned, purposeful, and intentional action to create new career patterns that serve your highest and greatest potential.
Deciding that you want different in your career and in your life is an act of courage and bravery.
It's about facing your discomfort, about being intentional with who you surround yourself with, doing the inner work and believing in your capacity for growth and change.
