Hi ,
In 2024, I learned a new technique for consistently posting on LinkedIn that changed the game.
Before now, this is how my LinkedIn posting went:
- Use AI to come up with topics to share
- Do research on the topic
- Spend hours writing the post
- Review. Review. Review before posting.
But last year, I learned a new technique that made posting on LinkedIn go like this:
- Sit on my keyboard
- Write post
- Review
- Publish
in about 25-30 mins.
Do you see the difference?
No begging ChatGPT for ideas on what to post.
No deep research - you're too busy for that.
No spending hours writing and reviewing.
This system is called the Golden Nugget system. And I learned it from Chris Von Wilpert.
Here's how this strategy works.
And it's very simple.
You simply think:
- what did I do at work today?
- what did I learn or observe at work today?
- what did I achieve at work today?
Write a quick post about just one of the above, add a picture (if available) and click publish.
This system is so easy because it's something you already do.
It's exactly the way you post status on WhatsApp, tweet on X, or share stories on Facebook and Instagram.
Simple, right?
No research is needed. Everything is already in your head.
Just sit on your desk (or pull out your phone) >> Write the post from what happened today>>> publish >>>> enjoy.
I talked more about it in my recent video.
