I just wanted to share with you an amazing story.
Recently, there was flooding in my basement and I didn't know where it was coming from. However I realized I would need a new mop to fix this problem.
So when I got to the store I found 2 options.
One was cheaper while the other one was more expensive. I originally chose the cheaper model. I was just thinking about saving money.
But then I realized the cheaper one would require a bucket with that lattice to drain the water. Without that, I would have to wring out the mop by hand into our existing bucket. That would have wasted my time.
So then I went back to the more expensive mop. What impressed me was that it was Mr. Clean. And hit was a sponge mop, not cloth. Plus it had the ability to wring out the sponge with this cool lever built in.
I came to the realization that Paying more money would save me more time. I also realized I challenge people all the time to invest into premium value, but if I didn't that would be fake and hypocritical.
In the end, the more expensive mop performed wonderfully. I love it! It's so cool and got the job done rapidly. Instead of taking hours, it only took a few minutes. If I got the cheaper mop, I would still have that problem till today.
So the moral of the story is: Invest in premium value. You deserve the best! Your time is so precious and valuable! And when you invest in premium value, more people are willing to pay you premium value. It's the law of reciprocity in effect!
