habit product update
habit is a reflection tool that enhances emotional intelligence for stronger connections.
🫶 this is a quick update on the growth of habit
I have been thinking a lot about what this project means to me. There are a few values I want to stick through no matter how popular this product gets.
be fair - I want to be fair with pricing. i want to sleep easy knowing I've been as fair as possible. pricing/structure is still in progress, but I'm pretty sure we're going to use microtransactions and stay away from subscriptions (I'm SO TIRED of subscriptions.) what does that mean? I will cap any profits of habit at 10%. all of the reflections will be very very affordable even to people in the developing world.
create slow jobs - of course I will always pay people a living wage (and better) but I want to create a team/company where people really want to work at. that means autonomy, trust, clear goals, creativity, and 20 hours a week of work or less. I think the human brain works great at 20 hours - you can get a lot done in that time. I think beautiful things are created slowly. I think this is the future of all jobs, and I'm going to create this future.
creating a philosophy of reflection - every journey is unique, and i encourage everyone to find their own path in how they use reflection. but as a company, we should write down, share, and communicate the findings of our community. sometimes someone else's journey can give you a brilliant idea about your own path even if you're not copying exactly what they are doing.
??? - How can I really do things differently? What resonates with me on a deep spiritual level? I'll be thinking on this and sharing as I uncover more through reflection.
