Enjoy this week's conversation with Gabe a lot, especially his openness around his rookie contract with Bamberg. Gabe has been a staple with the national team (he also spoke about potential of suiting up with Byron Mullens) for a number of years and is another of those GB athletes who is a great role model for the younger players coming through.
It seemed like it was only a matter of time following the government's announcement last week, but the BBL confirmed Wednesday night the season would not start as scheduled this Friday. With teams facing multiple six figure losses, the league has called on the government for urgent support - and it seems likely some type of financial aid is coming.
