Hey,
This week's 3-pointer:
Enjoyed this week's podcast with former Oaklands big man Ben Lawson, who has a fascinating story of carving himself out a solid career in Japan after having many moments where things weren't looking so great.
📝 Feature: Shanice Beckford-Norton
Brad has done a nice job writing up this feature with BA London Lions' Shanice Beckford-Norton, talking about the club's change in fortunes this year, and helping out the next generation coming through.
In the leading piece of British basketball related content from the mainstream media that could do with a bit more due diligence this week, is this piece from ITV. Having grown up down the road when Brighton Bears were in their hey day, I would be first in line to see them brought back to life with a new purpose built venue - but this article leaves more questions than answers - where is the money coming from? How could this possibly be completed by 2023? Why are there palm trees and sandy beaches in the 3D renders? lol.
That wraps up another week, as always, hit reply with any thoughts, questions or anything else!
With gratitude,
Sam
