3-Point Thursday #223

Hey,

Happy New Year! Just when I started on about 2021 hopefully being more positive, we're plunged into another lockdown - further delaying competitions, and the reality of whether this stuff could go into the summer is kicking in 😭!

Anyway, we move.

This week's 3-pointer:

🎙 Podcast: Steve Vear

One of the most requested guests has been Steve, and we had a lot to talk about, going 3 hours! Was a really enjoyable and interesting conversation - particularly comparing the US to the UK and his learnings since moving to LA - but there's a ton of stuff in there for you to get your teeth into! Have a watch/listen and let me know what you think!

🎥 Top Plays

After some failed attempts myself (that will never see the light of day), we finally found a perfect fit in Tahir Hajat to put a voiceover on the weekly top plays. The feedback has been really positive and I think it makes a huge difference in terms of production and hopefully will go further in building the connection with fans and creating narratives around the BBL.

🇺🇸 Brits in College

Despite a delayed and sporadic start to the college basketball season, we've got our first Brits in college recaps out the door - check out how the boys are doing here, and the girls here.

That wraps up another drop - hit reply if there's anything you want to see from us in 2021!

With gratitude,

Sam

P.S. Check out the latest BBL Power Rankings - and note the BBL Cup semi-finals have moved to single leg, single venue on Tuesday, due to COVID-19.
