Hey,
This week's 3-pointer:
It was a tough start to their European campaign, as the London Lions were unable to get past the first hurdle to BCL regular season qualification, suffering a heavy loss to Treviso on Monday night. They now drop into the FIBA Europe Cup - which they didn't get a chance at last season due to COVID-19.
I remember when I first jumped on Twitter in 2009, and it was pretty much Hoopsfix and Mark Woods tweeting regularly about British basketball. It was DEAD. Things have changed a lot since then, there's a lot more of us and a lot more British basketball related conversation. It's by far my favourite platform, so I was honoured to get the chance to talk about how we use Twitter on the Twitter Media blog this week - have a read and let me know your thoughts!
🏀 This season - let us know what you want
The season is already here - what a madness...we're thinking about coverage and what we are going to be trying to do this season on Hoopsfix - is there anything in particular you'd like to see? Types of content, topics, guests, events or anything else? Hit reply and let me know!
That wraps up another drop, as always hit reply with any thoughts, questions or anything else.
With gratitude,
Sam
