It's hard to believe Karma Teachers has been around for over 10 years.
I reflect on the top floor yoga days from time to time, and for those of you who were there, you experienced the strong community and jam packed events.
Making it's way to the ground floor for street level access was a huge opportunity to open the gates for more exposure.
The teachers, the front desk staff, the guests - It was all thanks to you.
The Teacher Training kept the doors open and the Passholders kept the yoga free for any body. The love for the mission and each other, sewed it all together by key members of the team.
These last few years I've spent a considerable amount of time in contemplation of the entire history and what the future is like. I'll save those revelations for next month because it's still in the works!
There's honestly, so much to share about what this year has been like for Karma Teachers and the experiences we've shared with the teacher training's we ran in the first half.
This email is about sharing exposure for partnerships. good causes and community.
We've been working closely with Green Room Yoga, previously owned by Jennifer Clarke until recently passing the torch to Delia Brett - AND THIS IS AN EXCITING TIME TO WRAP UP 2024! We survive to thrive in 2025.
Because we always want to know - what is it you're looking for that brings excitement to spiritual routines/growth, teaching opportunities and participating in community events. These questions will be asked in polls fairly soon.
But for now - let's get to the point since you've read this far.
This Saturday, December 14th @ Green Room (2645 E Hastings) is your chance to dip your toes in the water and explore what's being built and it starts with connecting to this community.
There's going to be classes to raise donations for Vancouver Food Bank , hosted by Green Room, which we know is a big part of the initiatives Karma Teachers has helped with in the past and would gladly support.
