Dear ,
It’s been a whirlwind two weeks since The Cost of Magic launched, and I can’t thank you enough for all the kind words and reviews coming in. Hearing what resonated with readers has been the best kind of motivation to keep writing.
Here are a few highlights that made my week:
“Strong pacing, brave and determined female protagonists, and unpredictable plots.” – The Wishing Shelf
“She became a comfort character for me… she makes mistakes and puts all her efforts into doing better.” – NetGalley Reviewer
“A reflection of our own struggles—finding courage, embracing risk, and facing the cost of becoming who we are.” – Goodreads Reviewer
If you’ve read The Cost of Magic, I’d love to hear what you thought too. Your feedback helps the story reach more readers—and it means a lot to me personally.

Since it’s October, I can’t resist a little seasonal fun. The nights are drawing in, and magic seems to linger a bit longer in the air. If you could cast one spell this Halloween—just for a night—what would it be? Hit reply and tell me!
And if you’re looking to fill your Kindle with more magical reads this month, here’s what I’ve got for you:
Thank you again for being part of Torvia’s journey and for making The Cost of Magic’s first month such a success.
Wishing you a little extra magic this Halloween,
L. J. Evias
