This is the perfect night for a little Mafia Romance, don't you think?

My life was normal until the day I pulled the trigger and killed a mafia boss.
I was fearful that his connections are out for blood, so I fled.
I found a new life and a new job in the Big city.
My new boss is a handsome Billionaire.
He knows I am running from someone and his first instinct is to be my Protector.
I felt him leaning closer, and he turned his hand to hold mine. "Why don't you want me to help you, Lana?" He put his glass of wine on the table.
I put my glass down on the table as well and began leaning in also. I whispered, "Why are your walls always up?"
"I asked first," he whispered playfully.
I felt myself inching closer. "Because some things are better left unsaid.”
Love and lust,
