I can't believe my first crush is the new sheriff in town... and lives next door.
My life is on track taking care of my little boy, working at my dream job, and avoiding all men.
But when a false alarm goes off, guess who crashes in my front door?
Max Madison!
My first love and the guy who broke my heart.
My heart stops and I clench my thighs.
It should be a crime to look this good... hazel eyes, six feet tall, muscles in all the right places...
It's been many years since I've seen Max.
He was my brother's best friend growing up.
Now, he's the new sheriff in town living next door.
We keep running into each other.
The physical is so good...
I'm not going to have my heart broken, again.
Until in the middle of a hurricane, I see a whole other side of him.
There's only one problem...
My little boy loves the sheriff. And I think I do, too.
Love and lust,
