Dear friends,
I wanted to take a moment to share something meaningful with you.
Deadly Departed has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Podcast Tonight Awards. Being recognized in this way is genuinely humbling, and it speaks to the depth of the conversations and the trust so many of you have brought to the podcast over time.
There is also a Listeners’ Choice Award, which allows the audience to support the show directly. If Deadly Departed has ever offered you insight, comfort, or a sense of connection, you can vote here:

You may notice that the voting page currently lists the podcast under a Comedy category. This is simply a classification error by the awards platform and is in the process of being corrected. The nature and intention of the podcast remain unchanged.
Thank you — sincerely — for listening, for engaging with difficult and meaningful topics, and for being part of this wider community. Recognition like this is never individual; it belongs to everyone who has been part of the journey.
With gratitude,
Jock Brocas
