By now you should be used to this week’s main story. Two professionals. Same status update. Same opportunity. Different choices.

One protected her calendar. One protected her future.

I'm not telling you to abandon structure…routine exists for good reasons. I'm telling you that when the room only exists once, the routine can wait.

So here's the only ask this week: think of the last opportunity you let your calendar talk you out of.

Not the big ones…the small, easy-to-decline ones. A call. An introduction. A room you almost walked into.

You don't need a new system to fix this. You need to ask the outcome question before the calendar question…starting with the next one.

That's the whole shift. Everything else follows from it.
