Hey, ,
I was scrolling yesterday, and I watched a video of a tandem BASE-jump.
BASE: Buildings, Antennas, Spans, and Earth jumps.
Instead of jumping out of a plane, this was a person (with an experienced jumper harnessed to her) jumping off of a cliff. They deployed a parachute, but they literally jumped off a cliff!
I watched the jumpers inch closer to the edge of the cliff. My hands got sweaty, and my own pulse got faster.
They jumped. The parachute opened, and they landed safely on the ground.
The lessons:
- Taking action is scary.
- The fear is strongest before the action. After, the fear disappears.
- The positives of the experience far outweigh the negatives.
What's the bold action you can take that will move you closer to where you want to be?
You've got this!
Ken
