Good afternoon, ,
This week’s episode features Knives Monroe—filmmaker, podcaster, and creative director—who’s fresh off a layoff and staring down the “what’s next?” question many of us face.
Why listen?
- Honest Transition Talk. Knives (Yes, that's his real name) shares his real-time journey from serving clients to finally betting on himself:
- Family as Motivation. With two kids, pets, and a wife, Knives tackles the pressure and finds inspiration rather than burden.
- Wading Through Creative Overwhelm. Agency, freelancing, directing? The choices are overwhelming. Ken Williams helps Knives focus on what truly lights him up—directing and collaborating.
- The path forward? Get specific about what you want, lean into discomfort, and let your support system prop you up if your own confidence is shaky.
🎙️ Catch the full conversation for inspiration and action steps if you’re feeling stuck, too. https://www.buzzsprout.com/2443605/episodes/18225441
