The Welsh Gatehouse Romantic Holiday Home Offers Cancellation Cover and Decontamination Process
PLEASE HELP US TO SPREAD THE WORD
In order to help couples who feel uncertain about booking a short break at the Welsh Gatehouse, we are offering an optional cancellation policy. This allows people to book their holidays with confidence, knowing that if the worst happens, and their region goes into another lockdown, they will receive a full refund.
Not only this, but at the Welsh Gatehouse we take our guests safety seriously. The whole property is decontaminated prior to the commencement of all guest bookings. A thermal fogging machine is will be used to treat every room with an antiviral disinfectant, which is effective against Coronavirus within 5 minutes. Click to see the video here.
They say that buildings remember the past. When the Black Death came to The Welsh Gatehouse in 1349, it was as dark a time as the people there had ever known. Built in the 1270s, The Welsh Gatehouse has seen more than its fair share of floods and famine, fire and pestilence – and every time it has bounced back, life returning to its mellow stone and picturesque towers. Even the darkest of times can provide an opportunity. In the first lockdown we gave our 700-year-old hideaway a lick of paint.
The Welsh Gatehouse keeps a traditional welcome for couples, just over the Border in Monmouthshire, within sight of the old Severn Bridge, and easy reach of the Wye Valley and Tintern Abbey, the Brecon Beacons and the Forest of Dean.
