Hi ,
When life feels confusing, our first impulse is often to push harder, gather more advice, or make a quick decision—anything to escape the discomfort of not knowing.
But sometimes you do not need a better plan first.
You need your bearings.
Feeling lost does not mean you have failed.
It may simply mean that the terrain has changed, the fog has moved in, or you have been carrying so much that you can no longer see the trail clearly.
On the Mountain of Life, orientation comes before direction.
Before deciding what to do, it helps to ask:
Where am I right now?
What am I carrying?
What kind of terrain surrounds me?
What kind of help would actually fit?
💜 Watch: When You Feel Lost—How to Find Your Next True Step
In this new 43-minute teaching, I use the Mountain of Life to help you pause, understand your present situation, and begin finding a direction that fits where you truly are.
Here is a question to carry this Sunday: ✨
Which of those four questions might help me see my situation more clearly today?
Then, try this ten-minute orientation pause:
Spend two minutes becoming still and setting distractions aside.
Spend five minutes writing one honest sentence about where you are, what you are carrying, and what support might help.
Spend the final three minutes choosing one kind, realistic action—not the whole route.
You do not have to force an answer. The purpose is simply to see a little more clearly.
Sometimes that pause reveals a decision or pattern that did not work well. If so, this gentle Sparkly reflection may help: Self-Compassion After Mistakes.
With love and light,
Christine

P.S. You are not behind. You may simply need a trail marker. ✨
