Dear friends,
It is the rainy season in Uganda and, since the girls’ safe home sits a bit lower, there has recently been significant flooding on the property. All the young chickens (about 16) were lost, and a number of food crops, such as the young matoke, were destroyed.
To address this flooding issue, drainage is being installed around the outside of the property.
Some repairs are also needed on the property, as well as the replacement of the chickens and crops.
Would you help the girls by giving towards this unexpected need? The aim is to raise $2000.
To give towards these repairs, click on the link below. Under “Where should it go?” select “Emergency Repairs”.
Any additional money raised will go towards meals for the rescued girls at safe home.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for caring. We are blessed to be partnering with you.
In Christ,
Kristen
