Two important days for Mercy Vineyard

Hey Mercy Tribe!

At the beginning of this year, God impressed Isaiah 62:6-7 on our hearts - a call to be a people who pray without ceasing:

“I have posted watchmen on your walls…Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord. Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work…”

We sensed God calling us to relentless prayer - and bold action.

Over the next few weeks, we have an opportunity to live that out in a powerful way: a day to pray…and a day to invite.

Catalyst - A Day of Prayer

March 28 | 6am-6pm

We are covering a 12-hour period in prayer, asking God to bring his kingdom into the lives of the people we know who need him.

Choose one (or more) 15-minute prayer slots on the poster by the coffee counter this Sunday.

We’ll send you a reminder text at your selected time, and you can pray wherever you are. Then we’ll gather at the church from 6-7pm that evening for a time of worship and prayer together.

We truly believe God will move as we seek him with unity and persistence.

Share Sunday

March 29

Catalyst prepares our hearts & the hearts of those we are praying for. Share Sunday puts feet to our prayers.

Invite someone to coffee or breakfast - then bring them with you to Mercy to hear Certainty in an Uncertain World. It’s a message we all need.

Sharing a meal before or after makes the invitation natural and meaningful, and it increases the chance they will say yes because they won’t have to walk in alone. Beginning this Sunday, March 8th, you can grab an invitation card and one of three small gift options to include. We want to make it simple and easy for people to say yes - and to encounter the incredible hope we have in Jesus.

Thank you for being the kind of people who desire and seek the heart of God - who love, grow, and go for his greater glory.

We truly believe God is going to move as we pray and step out in faith together.

Living a passionate mission,

Lee & Wendy
