A PERSONAL NOTE FROM ME (AMY)
I've gone quiet on the podcast and newsletter these past two weeks because life is happening in our home and we've been dealing with...
- a sick 4-year-old with pneumonia
- a sick baby with RSV
- two sick parents picking up colds from all of the above
I don't have 'coworkers' or a 'team' to speak with for support or delegation right now but I am grateful to the medical and teaching staff and individuals who have helped us out. Special thanks to friends and family who are checking in on us and lending a hand.
I always experience highs and lows, ebbs and flows alongside each other and I try to hold both at the same time but it's hard not to feel like life is bursting at the seams at times.
I also believe it is a sign you're just living life, growing as a parent and a human. Do you ever feel like this? One minute you're 'winning', the next you're 'flailing'!?
It takes resilience and experience to not let it knock you sideways but I have been lying horizontal often lately! I just try to get up again once I feel ready.
