Sitting at my parent's dining room table.

Hi praying friends,

This morning I am sitting at the dining room table at my parent's house in Willmar, MN. Mom had surgery yesterday, and late last week I checked to see if I had enough flight miles to get a flight to MN to help mom and dad. Luckily, one worked out!

So - here I am, jet-lagged but happy to report that it appears that her surgery went really well. Recovery will be long, so please pray for her and my dad as they start another recovery journey. Thank you for praying for her last week!

Thank you also for continuing to pray for our Gallery project. We opened a new exhibit last week - and it was great to see the room full of another group of people who were mostly new to us. Every artist has their own collectors and "fans", so each time we open a new exhibit we get to have conversations with new people. This week, one guest to the exhibit reached out with interest in purchasing a work, which is great for both us and the artist!

Money is also coming in to help cover the deficit in our account. Your prayers are being answered. Please pray that God continues to put the need on people's hearts.

I don't have long to write this morning, but please know that your prayers are really important to us. We are so grateful that you continue to support us in this really important way - bringing our needs before the throne of God.

Oh! Caleb also got his Bachelor's thesis turned in last Friday! The next step for him is to wait for it to be reviewed and then to go and defend the paper before the reviewers.

Here are some prayer requests.

  1. Pray for my mom as she recovers.
  2. Pray for safe travels both here in MN and as I return to Berlin.
  3. Pray for us as we enter into some of the final planning pushes for a few short-term teams heading our direction in June and July.
  4. Could you also please keep praying for us as we continue to explore ways for interns to come long-term? We have a meeting with someone coming up in May that could be the solution we have been looking for.

Thanks for praying!
