Please see below regarding updates on our NFC Card fundraiser and OCPhA Award Nominations process:
PAC Fundraiser: NFC Tap Cards
OCPhA will be selling NFC Tap Cards to raise money for CPhA-PAC! These cards can be used to easily network with each other at professional events and conferences. You can link the card to your LinkedIn, Linktree, etc.
Cards will be $20 for members and $25 for non-members. A date will be arranged for you to receive your card! Please contact Quyen Nguyen ([email protected]) or the OCPhA Legislative Committee for any questions/concerns.
OCPhA New Practitioner of the Year Awards
We are thrilled to announce the re-launch of the Orange County Pharmacists Association's Practitioners of the Year Awards! We invite you to submit your nominations for colleagues who have demonstrated remarkable service, leadership, and impact in our community. Categories include Pharmacist, New Practitioner (<10 yrs), Technician, and Student of the Year.
Award categories and Criteria for each award can be found HERE. Below are Requirements that Nominees must have:
- Either be practicing in Orange County or be an OCPhA chapter member (membership verification)
- Have a nominator's letter addressing the criteria of following award(s) and provide specific examples of how the candidate has made significant, influential and sustained contributions to the pharmacy practice in Orange County/Southern California.
- Have a current full curriculum vitae or detailed resume.
- Have at least 2 but up to 4 Letter of Recommendations
- All letters of support must be signed by the author. Letters may contain an electronic signature
Self-Nominations are allowed for submission, and each nominee can be nominated for more than 1 award. Deadline for final submission will be NO LATER than November 16th at 11:59pm. Please reach out to Dr. Dara Nguyen ([email protected]) and Dr. Mary Ngo ([email protected]) for any questions.
