President-Elect Candidate: Dr. Dara Nguyen
"My name is Dara Nguyen and I'm excited to be running for the position of President-Elect for Orange County's Pharmacist's Association for 2023. As someone who has served in various capacities in OCPhA as student liaison, member of the mentorship committee, chapter of excellence coordinator, and board member, I understand our organization's goals in advancing the profession of pharmacy and improving the health of our community. Despite the many challenges OCPhA has faced, I've seen how our dedicated members have worked so hard to contribute to our chapter's growth in becoming one of the leading local associations. As President-Elect, I will strive to continue advocating for our fellow pharmacy professionals and to continue the momentum our past and current leaders have carried so that OCPhA gains greater visibility as a valuable resource for pharmacy professionals and patients. My name is Kevin Shiau and I've been part of OCPhA for the last 4 years. This organization has been a great place to grow as a professional and as a pharmacist. I'm excited for the opportunity to take a more active role within OCPhA and looking forward to the upcoming year of events.
