Auction.com released its Q4 2025 Auction Market Dispatch and Mississippi showed a 46% increase from a year ago in foreclosure auction volume.
Foreclosures aren't fun, but they can mean opportunity for investors.
Two ways you can take advantage of these:
Get Creative
- You'd be amazed what people, banks, and other investors are open to if it means they'll get out of a problem. Go into negotiations open minded and don't be afraid to provide multiple options. (3 is ideal and it works for commercial and residential properties)
Get Dry Powder (Funds)
- Wu-Tang Clan said it best. C.R.E.A.M. (Cash Rules Everything Around Me)
- If the big players are stacking up dry powder, you might want to do the same. Now that doesn't mean that you keep it all in the bank, but it does mean you need to be introducing yourself to banks, lenders (our phone line is always open), potential partners, etc.. Remember, the best time to talk money isn't when you desperately need it.
