It's hard to believe we have been open for 9 months! It's been a crazy, fun, exciting, stressful, mind-blowing experience that we wouldn't trade for anything.
Before we opened, some of you completed a survey sharing what you wanted to see in Fort Langley. We were blown away by the amount of requests for gluten-free options that we absolutely had to make it a priority. We didn't want to offer just a few dishes like most other places, instead we decided to challenge ourselves and make it possible for everything on our menu to have the ability to be gluten-free (as well as plant-based).
It was one of the best decisions we could have made.
Witnessing guests shed tears of happiness (seriously, it's happened more than once!) that they could get anything on the menu made for them safely as a celiac, including our fried chicken, (cause yep, out fryers are gluten-free!), made it all worth it.
Seeing the smiles on guests faces knowing they can eat with their friends and family that have different dietary preferences without limitations...worth it.
The stress of creating a new brunch menu that can be made all the ways...worth it.
Oh right, a new brunch menu. It's hitting plates this May Long Weekend for another test run. If you want to try it out, come see us Saturday May 18 - Monday May 20 from 11am - 3pm. Of course, everything can be made traditional, plant-based, or gluten-free. Take a look:
Something else that's pretty exciting? We've just scheduled our next Mixology Showcase for Tuesday June 4th and it's going to be a Whiskey Bourbon BBQ theme. The last 2 events sold out, so don't wait getting your tickets because once they are gone, they are gone.
We love being a place for the community to go, that's why we've also started this "Join the Table - A Community Dining Experience", which brings people together over a delicious meal in hopes of new friendships being made. Our next one is scheduled for Monday June 17th from 6-8pm.
During Canuck Playoff games, the sound is on for our 2 60' TV's and we have wings, which isn't on our menu. Get 1Lb for $15, or make it a combo and get 1Lb of wings and a 20oz Sapporo for just $20! They come in cajun honey, spicy, salt & pepper, and spicy Korean glaze. The next game is this Saturday, which also happens to be Brewhalla!
We also have Open Mic Night every Wednesday from 6-9pm hosted by Creative Compass Society and the Artist Showcase - Live Music Sunday's from 5:30-7:30pm with this week featuring Matt Hermano.
