"A must-read story set in a very important time in our history." - Readers' Favorite
England 1944. When the first German prisoners of war arrive in her sleepy village, Clare is still grieving for her husband, and she hates them all. But when one of them saves a child's life, she is forced to reconsider. As a tentative and illegal relationship develops, old secrets come to light, and Clare's loyalties are stretched to the limit. Heart-wrenching standalone historical fiction.

I'll be in touch again soon. In the meantime, I hope all is well with you and that you're reading something wonderful.
Kind regards
Samantha
