When was the last time someone prepared a room for you?
Not you setting it up for the guests, the children, or the family. A place where everything was already waiting and there was nothing to organise, nothing to manage, and nobody needing anything from you.
Picture it. You arrive at the door and the window is open to the trees. A candle is lit. A journal is on the bed with your name on the first page. A handwritten note says: "You are exactly where you need to be. Rest. Restore. Rise."
And for the first time in a very long time, you exhale.
That's the moment I want to give you at The Fire Years: four days at Frenchman's Cove, Jamaica, October 30 to November 2. There's ocean, stillness, bodywork with Paul Hamilton, and rhythm with International Master Drummer Calvin Mitchell, held in a circle of women who understand this season because they're in it too.
