This Thursday, we launch Season 16 with a play that’s one part Spielberg, one part Beckett, and all parts hilarious.
The Shark Is Broken opens August 28 at Springs Ensemble Theatre.
Based on a true story, this behind-the-scenes comedy captures the madness of making Jaws when a busted animatronic shark forced three actors to wait, argue, drink, and bond. It’s funny, nostalgic, and surprisingly moving.
