Dear ,
What a year 2022 was! As we look back at the year, there are a lot of different things that happened, but we want to summarize the year in four words.
PROVISION
The year began with our Dining Room flooding and trees being blown over. It took almost two months before everything was usable again because there was a lot of water damage, but God provided the funds for a professional cleaning company to restore everything and even to make some upgrades to our facility!
Right after everything was restored, the war in Ukraine started on February 24. Millions of people fled from the war, and hundreds came to our property. Many people came with only a suitcase, but God provided clothes, food, mattresses, people to help us, and many other things so that we could minister to these people in a time of great need.
We have also see God provide for our family in miraculous ways so that we can continue to serve in Poland. He has also provided for English4Life so that this part of our ministry continues to grow. Praise the Lord for His provision!
RECORD-BREAKING
The past year was also a record-breaking year! We were able to more people than ever this year. At English4Life, we had 9 students in the Winter, 21 in Spring (a record number!), and 17 in the Fall. What a wonderful opportunity we had to do life with these students and model what it is like to follow Christ! Please pray for our Winter term starting on Sunday, January 8.
Our summer camps were all full with record numbers of campers. In November, we once again organized a Thanksgiving dinner for people in our community and a record 150 people came!
Our goal is not just to have a lot of numbers, but to impact as many lives as we can. This is why we rejoice at the record-breaking year of 2022.
LILIA
We cannot look back on 2022 without thinking about the birth of our daughter, Lilia. Lilia is six months old and growing very quickly. She moves all around her crib and chews on whatever she can get her two teeth on. Eddie and Emma are also growing up fast and they enjoy making Lilia smile.
Please pray for us as parents. Our desire is that our children will grow up to love and serve the Lord. Pray for their salvation and for us to have wisdom to train them.
CELEBRATION
As 2022 came to a close and 2023 began, we celebrated the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the reason that we have hope and He is the reason that we serve in Poland.
We are also celebrating the lives that were changed this year in Poland. This ministry could never continue if it was just the missionaries here. We need to have people praying and supporting us so that we can continue. This is why we want you to join us in celebrating all that God has done in 2022. Thank you for being part of our team! May God do even more in 2023!
