Dear ,
Hello once again from Poland! In Hebrews 11 there is a list of people in the Old Testament who lived by faith. At the end of the chapter it says, "All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised." (Hebrews 11 39 NLT) To live by faith, we need to take steps into the unknown, trusting that God will take care of us.
We have learned many things about faith as we have served the Lord, but the course in faith is not over until our faith becomes sight when we see the Lord face-to-face. In the Fall of 2019 we, by faith, started an English program here in Poland. Each term we have seen God provide the students and teachers that we need, sometimes at the last moment, but never late.
We finished our Winter Term and six students completed the course. One of our students, Tymek, shared what he learned while he was here:
- How to have a right attitude to service and to ministry.
- I improved my speaking skills. Now I’m not afraid to speak with natives.
- I improved my vocabulary and pronunciation.
- I’ve met a lot of of great people! Personally and online.
- I’ve received a lot of encouragement to serve the Lord and be involved in ministry.
When we began this ministry, we hoped, by faith, that we would be able to have this kind of impact in the lives of Polish people. It encourages us to hear testimonies like Tymek's, and we wanted to share this with you, , because we could not have this ministry without people like you. Thank you for being a part of our ministry!
Moving forward by faith
We are continuing to move forward here in Poland, both in new ministry opportunities and in developing the property that God has given us. We are trusting, by faith, that God will continue to provide for all that we have planned. Here is a brochure with more information about our future plans:
You may notice here that we planned to secure the funds by May 1 and begin construction on May 10. We are still trusting God for a large portion of the funds and hoping to get the building permission this week! If you would like to be involved in this or have any questions, please contact us.
Eddie & Emma
Our kids continue to grow and learn new things. Raising children is also a ministry of faith. We teach and train them and pray that they will follow the Lord. Eddie is 3 now and Emma is 9 months old.
Thank you for being a part of our ministry! Please pray for our English4Life term going on now. We have eight students who are learning English and the Bible with us.
Please let us know how we can be praying for you!
