Dear ,
Today was the last day of classes for our Fall term of English4Life. Praise the Lord that we are finishing our 19th term! We never imagined all that God would do through this ministry when we started in the Fall of 2019, but we are so thankful to be a part of this ministry. We have ministered through a global pandemic, a war in our neighboring country, and many other challenges, but we have seen God work in marvelous ways. Thank you for being a part of this.
Thanksgiving
Thank you for praying for our Thanksgiving outreaches. God worked and there was at least one person who prayed for salvation and many other Gospel seeds were planted.
Here are a few testimonies from the weekend:
- Six guests from our in-person English Café attended Thanksgiving, many of them searching for community. Two teenagers expressed interest in joining our youth group, and Joanna—who came to both the Café and Thanksgiving—joined us for church on Sunday and loved it.
- A Ukrainian missionary pastor and his family also joined us. Their 10-year-old daughter accepted Christ after the second Thanksgiving feast, and their oldest daughter was encouraged to bring a team of teens to December’s Bible Quiz—please pray they accept the challenge and prepare well.
- A couple from the Zgierz government office came after being invited by the unbelieving mother of one of our teens. They loved the event and asked to be notified of anything else we host. The husband, who works in the water department, even joked that he checked the water project of our building before coming!
