What will you burn down for your dreams?

horoscopes for the Full Moon in Aries

Happy Full Moon in Aries, !

This Full Moon wants you to ask what you're willing to burn down for your dreams and what structures you'll have to rebuild afterward. It wants you to flip tables in pursuit of greater freedom and transformation. This is not a quiet full moon that asks nothing of you. Instead, it wants you to go deeper.

I know, all of that sounds strange for a Full Moon in Aries. Aries, the sign of act first and ask questions later (if ever!), is not normally where I would say we're going deep. Let me explain a bit.

This Full Moon in Aries happens on Friday at 9:49am Pacific. This full moon is ruled by Mars and just hours before it, the Moon will trine a very unhappy Mars. Mars is in Cancer. The warrior planet has no desire to be in a bathtub surrounded by candles and kittens; he wants to be out on the battlefield, slicing up the enemy. So when the Moon trines Mars and asks what needs to happen next, Mars says it's time to burn things to the ground and here's a list of all the things I'm mad about. (If you're also feeling this way, might I suggest making a list? Figure out what needs to burn down first and how to do it safely.)

After the Moon checks in with Mars, she runs into Neptune, the planet of dreams. It's like having a list of all the things that make you unhappy and then comparing it to what you want from your life. Neptune runs a highlighter over the things on that list that are also standing in the way of your dreams.

And then the Moon sextiles Pluto and Uranus, the planets of transformation and freedom. And the Full Moon occurs in a sign ruled by Mars. It's time to take action.

So I'll ask you to first make a list of all the things that you'd like to burn down - personally and in the world at large. Then write down what you'd actually like in your life, all those big dreams and little dreams, and compare the two. What is yours to do on those lists? What's the next step? What must be released before you build the new thing?

The Moon will conjunct Saturn the following day so you should take the time to know what comes after you burn the things down before you start lighting matches. This is the figure out what needs to burn first and how to do it safely part of the lunation. I know it's not typical Aries but it's what the moment calls for. Release that impulsivity of Aries but embrace the explosive qualities a bit. Sometimes we need a good shake-up.

And now for your Full Moon horoscopes:

Read for your rising and/or sun signs.

Aries: Your first impulse does not need to become your whole identity. And that impulse does not need to derail what you're building in relationships with others. Yes, it's annoying to move slow but we go further when we go together.

Taurus: It's time to let go of the habits and behaviors that are no longer good for you. You're growing and it's time to commit to some routines that serve your current needs and dreams. This shake-up can be destabilizing but it's all working toward greater freedom in your public roles and daily life.

Gemini: How can you balance your communities and their communal goals with your own creative projects? What structures do you need in order to release those projects out into the world? You can't keep them to yourself forever.

Cancer: I promise you, Mars is almost done making you feel personally attacked and like every problem is yours alone to solve. Remember to look at what you actually want your public life to feel like before you burn everything to the ground. And then let go of anything you may have decided to pursue impulsively if it's no longer aligned with your dreams.

Leo: It's time to refocus your long distance travel and your higher education aspirations. What might need to be released so that you can go and grow where you actually want to be?

Virgo: If it feels like you don't know what to release with this lunation, that's okay. You don't have to know all the things to transform your health and daily routines or to take action in your communities and find greater freedom in your public roles. Just know that it will take letting go of some things that are not really yours and maybe never were. What's getting in the way of deeper intimacy with your chosen people?

Libra: Take a look at what in your public life might be harming your one-to-one relationships and know that it's time to reset those relationships. Which ones feel out of balance? How might you structure them differently moving forward?

Scorpio: If your 12-step skincare routine (just an example!) is smothering you, it's time to simplify it. Get really clear about what daily rituals you need to achieve your larger dreams. Some things in your life are calling for a bit of expansion and you know you need firm foundations to make the leap. Let go of anything that is keeping you from building those structures.

Sagittarius: It's time to let go of your creative blocks. If you don't immediately know what those are, I'd suggest doing some sort of daily writing practice for the next few days while you figure them out. And take a structured risk!

Capricorn: If your one-to-one relationships have felt extra spiky over the last few weeks, just know that that will ease up soon. In the meantime, focus on what needs to be decluttered from your home life. How can letting go of the clutter free up your daily life?

Aquarius: It's time to simplify your daily life so that you can feel more free in your creative projects. What's the essential part of your routines and what needs to be eliminated?

Pisces: Where do you act impulsively in terms of earning income and what belongs to you? How might you release some of that with this Full Moon? Could streamlining how you earn money help you feel more free at home?

As always, take what resonates and leave the rest!

Shine on,
Mae
