Ref: Renters Reform Bill
As some of you would have seen on Sky News, BBC, and the Guardian newspaper, the British Landlords Association has been vocal about the renter reform bill.
Our view and advice to the government were simple: Don't do it; scrap this bill. Without naming any, most other landlord associations were flirting with the renter bill and thought it would work.
The potential consequences of the Renter Reform Bill were significant. We believed it could have been a disaster for the private residential sector and could have had a detrimental economic impact.
We are glad to inform our members the government has now scrapped the Renters Reform Bill.
