Behind the Scenes of Season 2

It's Week 3 on the Global Mercy...
And it's another week of capturing volunteer stories.
From all 12 decks of the Global Mercy, to waterfalls, and local schools. The team has been on the move as they capture the inspirational stories of these amazing volunteers.
There were a couple of pictures we wanted you all to see first before we shared them on our social media channels:
Captain O'Shea is back...
This first photo is from a story that's coming to Season 2 about Captain O'Shea and his wife Bernadette. She isn't just the Captain's wife but she's also a nurse in the Ship Ward and together they serve the crew and patient's.
It's a beautiful story of togetherness and forwarding the mission of Mercy Ships hand in hand. They're such a cute couple aren't they! 😍
Apprentice on Set...
At the end of filming, everyone should have great memories and feel like they want to do it all again.
Part of that means, taking your time to just be a good human with crew, vendors, talent, and everyone else, no matter their age.
In this next photo, Camera Op - Jeremy takes a minute to let one of the children featured in our story about Christiana (you're gonna love this one) look through the lens and be part of the team.
The joy in their faces, says it all. Loving what you do and loving who you do it with is the right way to run a production.
Memories and friends were made that will last a lifetime.
As we move closer and closer to the launch of Season 2 in June 2026 we'll keep sharing more, but for now, be sure to follow us here:
Livestream event on the horizon...
We're looking to have another live stream event with our friends at Angel, and this will be our first time live streaming from the Global Mercy.
We're still working out the details, but we'll keep you updated on when and where so you don't miss a thing.
